Support Every Step of The Way
Our shelter is designed to feel like home, complete with a kitchen, living room, playroom, and laundry facilities. LCSH understands that recovery is a personal journey without a set timeline. That’s why we offer flexible stays, with 30-day evaluations to tailor support to each individual’s needs.
While the individuals and families are at the shelter, all of their basic needs are met. They also receive one-on-one crisis intervention and case management from advocates as well as counseling from a certified counselor.
Our comprehensive support extends beyond shelter; we provide access to medical care, basic necessities, assistance in finding housing, and help with travel expenses to reunite you with your support network. A 24-hour hotline ensures you always have someone to talk to, and we’re here to welcome those from other areas when local options are full.
Financial assistance is part of our conversation about your path to independence, with support groups, transportation, assistance with lease breaking, resume and job application help, and counseling available to aid in your recovery. Our goal is to empower you with the tools and support you need to rebuild and lead a healthy, self-sufficient, and violence free life.
